Job Summary
Primary responsibility will be management of the design and development of business applications for an international a global direct selling Company. Qualified candidates will have extensive experience in managing medium size projects with fixed delivery dates and budgets as well as direct experience in all phases of the application development life cycle. Candidates must have direct selling industry experience, preferably in startup environments. Additionally, candidates must have the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment where priorities may shift as business needs change.
Job Duties
·Manage a medium size development effort to ensure timely deliverables that meet and exceed business expectations
·Prepare status reports and advise executive management on project status, risks and issues
·Train, develop and evaluate a project team consisting of PHP/.Net Programmers and Quality Assurance Staff
·Manage the project budget
·Develop and ensure compliance with standards, policies and procedures
·Performs other duties or special projects as assigned.
·International travel will be required
Qualifications
·At least 4 years software development experience in the direct selling/retail industry with at least 2 in a supervisory or project management role.
·Excellent organizational skills are a must
·2 – 4 years programming experience in:
o PHP
o HTML
o MySql
o C#
o .Net
o Asp.Net
o jQuery/JavaScript
o SQL Server
·Required proficiencies in:
o Excel
o MS Project
o Access.
